Exclusive Visit to Ajigawa Stable – Home of Ukrainian Sumo Champion Aonishiki
Enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience at Ajigawa Stable in Koto City, Tokyo, home to Aonishiki, the Ukrainian-born sumo wrestler who won his first top-division championship at the November 2025 Kyushu Grand Sumo Tournament.
Unlike a typical sumo stable tour, where visitors simply observe morning practice from a distance, this special experience offers rare opportunities to interact with the wrestlers. You will be invited into the dohyō (sumo ring) to practice shiko (the traditional sumo stomping exercise) alongside the wrestlers and gain a firsthand appreciation of sumo training.
The experience also includes a meal with the stablemaster, offering a unique chance to learn about the traditions, philosophy, and daily life of the sumo world in an intimate setting.

Taiko Drumming & Suminagashi Experience
Experience two of Japan's most captivating traditional arts in a single day.
Begin with an authentic Taiko drumming session led by one of Japan's most accomplished taiko performers, who owns the country's largest collection of taiko drums. Under expert guidance, you will learn the powerful techniques and dynamic rhythms that have been passed down through generations.
Then, discover the elegance of Suminagashi, the world's oldest form of marbling art. Using traditional Japanese washi paper, you will create beautiful flowing ink patterns inspired by a technique that has been practiced since the Heian period (794–1185). Each piece is unique, and you can take your finished artwork home as a memorable souvenir.
Both the taiko studio and the suminagashi atelier are located in Ota City, Tokyo, just a short distance from Haneda Airport, making it convenient to enjoy both experiences in one visit.
